2. SC/Mazbi/ Balmiki: 125 Posts
3. SC/ Others: 125 Posts
4. Backward Classes: 120 Posts
5. Ex- Serviceman / DXSM: 70 Posts
6. Physically Challenged: 30 Posts
7. Sports Person: 20 Posts
8. Freedom Fighter: 10 Posts
Qualification : Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent qualification and National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade and must have done 2 years Apprenticeship in PSPCL/ PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB and should have knowledge in Punjabi.
Age Limit : Candidate age limit should be between 18 to 39 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.
Selection Process : Selection will be made purely on merit basis.
Exam Fee Details : Candidates need to pay Rs. 300/- for All categories except SC & Person with disability, Rs. 150/- for Person with disability category, Rs. 75/- for SC category with Rs. 50/- Bank charges for all categories in the form of Challan in any Branch of SBOP.
